Statement of Faith

  • We align our beliefs and teachings to a Protestant, Evangelical and Conservative worldview.
  • We believe in one God, creator of all things, revealed in 3 persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (John 10:30; I John 5:7)
  • We believe the Holy Bible to be the only divinely inspired, infallible and authoritative Word of God. II Tim. 3:16; II Peter 1:20-21)
  • We believe that Jesus Christ, the son, was conceived of the Holy Spirit and was born to the virgin Mary. He died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins according to the Scripture, was buried, and rose from the grave on the third day to save us from destruction. (John 1:1, 14; Matthew 1:21-23; I John 5:20)
  • We believe that man was created in the image of God but chose to sin and is, therefore, lost and can be saved only by the free gift of salvation to Everyone who chooses to believe, and is received by our faith in Jesus Christ alone and not of works. ( John 3:16, John 11:25, Rom 10: 9-10,13,Genesis 1:27, 9:6; Romans 3:23, 5:12; Ephesians 2:1; I Peter 3:18; I Corinthians 15:1-4; Acts 4:12; Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 1:16; John 14:6)
  • We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation. (John 5:29; 2 Thessalonians 1:9; Revelation 20:14)
  • We believe the Holy Spirit is given to indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the believer for godly living and service. (I Peter 1:15-16; Matthew 28:19-20; Hebrews 10: 24-25; Acts 1:8; Mark 16:15; Ephesians 4:24; Colossians 3:12-14)
  • We believe the Christian baptism is the immersion of a believer in water. …It is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer’s faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Savior, the believer’s death to sin, the burial of the old life, and the resurrection to walk in newness of life in Christ Jesus (Romans 6:1-5; Acts 2:41; Acts 8:36-38).
  • We Believe The Lord’s Supper is a symbolic act of obedience whereby members … memorialize the death of the Redeemer and anticipate His second coming. (Corinthians 11:23-32; Luke 22:14-20)
  • We believe that God created all human beings in His image. Therefore, we believe that human life is sacred from conception to its natural end; that we must honor the physical and spiritual needs of all people; following Christ’s example, we believe that every person should be treated with love, dignity and respect. (Psalm 139:13; Isaiah 49:1; Jeremiah 1:5; Matthew 22:37-39; Romans 12:20-21; Galatians 6:10)
  • We believe in the literal, biblical 6 days of creation. We believe God created all living things and mankind between 10,000-6,000 years ago and is not in any sense the product of evolution. (Genesis 1-11, Exodus 20:11, Psalm 33:6-9)
  • We believe that God has established marriage as an exclusive relationship between one man and one woman and that all intimate sexual activity outside the marriage relationship, whether heterosexual, homosexual, or otherwise, is immoral and therefore sin. (Gen. 2:24-25, Ex. 20:14, 17, 22:19, Lev. 18:22-23, 20:13, 15-16, Matt. 19:4-6, 9, Rom. 1:18-31, 1 Cor. 6:9-10, 15-20, 1 Tim. 1:8-11; Jude 7);
  • We believe that God created the human race male and female and that all conduct with the intent to adopt a gender other than one’s birth gender is immoral and therefore sin. (Gen. 1:27; Deut. 22:5)
