Adrienne Purvis To All Instructors

Adrienne Purvis is a native of Portsmouth, VA.  She is a graduate of the University of Virginia where she received her B.A. Degree in Psychology.  While she focused on psychology, her other passion was mathematics.  Her talent for making the subject seem easy led to her constant demand as a tutor.  She was recruited by the Adult Education Department in the Portsmouth Public Schools Division to teach GED students.  "Ms. P.", as her students affectionately call her, has also taught Middle School Mathematics in Norfolk Public Schools.  She recently completed the Certificate Program at Regent University in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages.
