Karyn Harmonson To All Instructors

Hi my name is Karyn Harmonson. I’m originally from the Eastern Shore of Virginia, but I’ve lived in Virginia Beach for 15 years. I first gained interest in Culinary Arts in high when I was enrolled in the class. After high school I went to the Culinary Institute of Virginia in Norfolk. From there I worked in some restaurants, and then I started teaching high school Culinary Arts. I taught in the public school system for 7 years. Recently I’ve been working in food service in the healthcare field. I’m excited to be joining the PATHS team and I look forward to working with the students.
