Payment Policy

Payment and Fee Expectations for Bridge the Gap Learning Center (BTG)

As a federally recognized 501(c)3 status non-profit that accepts monetary and in-kind donations, grants, etc, Bridge the Gap Learning Center Inc. abides by all legal requirements for maintaining non-profit status. 

Registration

  • Annual family registration for the academic year is $25 for new families, $10 for returning families.

  • One annual registration fee is paid per family, regardless of the number of children.

  • New members payment is due at the time of registration.

  • If paying by check, please make the check payable to Bridge the Gap Learning Center.

  • Families cannot choose classes until member registration is paid in full.

Security Deposit

  • The security deposit is equal to one month’s tuition.

  • The security deposit is non-refundable

  • The security deposit is to be paid by September 1st for Fall semester.

  • The security deposit will be used to cover the last month's payment.

Supply Fees

  • Supply fees are a one-time cost and will be paid with the Security Deposit.

  • Supply fees vary based on courses.

  • Supply fees are non-refundable.

  • Supply fees do not cover cost of textbooks.

Payment Process

  • Payments can be made online through BTG website using Zeffy for non-profits. There is no transaction fee.

  • Bridge the Gap is an authorized service provider through the NC State Education Assistance Authority and can accept ESA+ payments.

Monthly Tuition 

  • Payment for September’s tuition is due September 1st, prior to the beginning of classes.

  •  If payment is not made, Bridge the Gap will remove students from class until payment can be made. Once payments are made in full, the family can start the re-enrollment process.

  • Subsequent monthly payments will continue through April, due on the 1st of each month.

  • May payment will be fulfilled by the initial security deposit.

  • A late fee of $5 will occur for late payments not received by the 5th of each month. 

  • Recurrent non or late payment is grounds for removal from Bridge the Gap Learning Center.

  • Families will automatically be unenrolled after 3 late fee charges.

Additional Fees

  • Late pickups at the end of class may be subject to a $5 late fee per 10 minutes late. Late pickups after the one hour pickup period for sick children may also be subject to this charge.

Refunds

  • Bridge the Gap will only issue refunds under special circumstances, pending review of BTG Board of Directors, eg: military orders, medical, etc.

  • Unless a student is removed by BTG administration, security deposit is non-refundable

  • Under typical/normal circumstances, families should expect any change in schedule resulting in an overpayment to be applied as a credit towards future BTG payments.
