Social Stars – A Social-Emotional Learning Group Using ABA Principles
Description: Social Stars is a structured social-emotional learning group designed to help children develop meaningful social connections, emotional regulation skills, and appropriate peer interactions using evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques. This small-group class focuses on teaching essential social skills such as turn-taking, conversation skills, perspective-taking, sharing, emotional recognition, and cooperative play. Through modeling, role-play, positive reinforcement, and direct instruction, participants learn how to navigate social situations with confidence and empathy. Each session incorporates structured routines, individualized supports, and real-time feedback to help generalize skills across settings. Activities are developmentally appropriate and tailored to the needs of each participant, ensuring a supportive and engaging environment where all learners can thrive.This group is intended for children ages 8-18.

• Initiating and maintaining conversations
• Understanding social cues and body language
• Managing emotions and self-regulation
• Conflict resolution and problem-solving
• Building and maintaining friendships
This group is ideal for children who benefit from structured support in social communication, emotional development, or behavior regulation—often including children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, or other social-emotional learning differences. This will be led by a trained facilitator with expertise in ABA and social-emotional development

Tuition: The cost is $20 per meeting or $40 per week.
