2016 HOPE Spelling Bee--Postpooned 'til Feb 5
The Spelling Bee has been postponed until February 5th at 1:30 pm due to the approaching severe weather.
REGISTRATION DEADLINE WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 13
Calling all spellers!
Register to showcase your spelling and presentation skills in this oral spelling bee. The winner will advance to the PWC regional spelling bee to be held in March. Because of this, only residents of Prince William County, Manassas Park City, and the City of Manassas can participate.
Attached are a few guidelines. Please read and familiarize yourself. For a full set of eligibility rules please visit http://spellingbee.com/eligibility
Students must not have turned 15 by August 31, 2015 nor passed beyond 8th grade on or before February 1, 2016. There is no minimum age requirement, however ALL spellers will compete in one group. There are no specific grade level rounds.
As soon as you register, I will email you the "National Bee School Spelling Bee Study List."
Parents, we want this to be a positive experience for our children. It is wonderful way for them to gain experience in public speaking.
