Two Sessions: 9:30-11:00am and 11:30am-1:00pm
Let’s discover the world of birds by venturing to Kentucky Dam, where many fish-loving birds congregate. We will learn about what makes birds unique, how to observe and identify birds, bird migration, and more. Students will also have a chance to learn how to use binoculars and a spotting scope. Kentucky Dam is a favorite location for birds such as herons, egrets, osprey, and cormorants.
