12 pm Field Trip to The McDonnell Prologue Room
THE SIGN-UP BUTTON IS BELOW
We will first view a short video (approximately 15 minutes) about the requirements for trajectory of flight and background information about the various items and displays in the museum. There is a guide for each tour who will speak about the exhibits and to answer any questions you may have. One of the most interesting topics is the International Space Station.
NOTE FROM MARY: My children enjoyed visiting the Prologue Room when we were homeschooling! Another great place to visit is The Historic Aircraft and Restoration Museum in Maryland Heights, Mo. which is open on weekends. Something else of interest would be to look up the history of how the entire program began with one man - James S. McDonnell.
