What is BROOMBALL? No skates? NO PROBLEM! Play on the ice, in your shoes!!!
Broomball is a great group entertainment and individual exercise that is played on the ice with strategies similar to hockey. Team players strike a ball the size of a small soccer ball with "brooms," and try to score points by getting it into a hockey net. You play in your sneakers, so no skating skills are required!

Here is a brief description for those who are unfamiliar with the game:
Broomball is similar to hockey. The game is played in a hockey rink with two teams. The object of the game is to score more goals than the opposing team. Players use brooms to maneuver a ball up and down the ice. Instead of skates, players wear tennis shoes.
This is a very physical game so younger siblings may want to sit this one out!
