PSA Filing Begins

Add to Your Calendar: 10/01/2022 10/01/2022 America/Los_Angeles PSA Filing Begins

If you are private homeschooler, the filing window for your PSA is between October 1st and 15th. You can find more information and instructions by clicking HERE. If you have filed a PSA previously, you can use last year's information to streamline your filing. You will need the confirmation code from the email you received last year.

Only private schools file PSAs. And only one PSA is filed for each school. So if you’re running your own private school in order to homeschool your children, you should file.

Only children between ages six and 18 are required to attend school, so only file if you have students between those ages. If your oldest child is four or five and you’re teaching kindergarten or prekindergarten, you don’t need to file yet unless your oldest child will be turning six before September 1st.

If you are joining a PSP do not file your own affidavit. You are enrolling your children in an existing private school, and the administrator should file the affidavit each year.
