LOGIC - "the science of right thinking."
Traditional Logic: Advance Formal Logic is a continuation of the Logic I class. It focuses on how to form ideas, judgments, and arguments as well as how to express them, with an emphasis on the on the structure of reasoning. Students will be able to expand their knowledge of formal logic beyond basic argument forms to include advanced, complex arguments. This is a one-semester course.
High School Course Credit: Traditional Logic II is worth approximately 1/2 year high school course credit (logic, language arts, or philosophy). If taken together with Traditional Logic I, the student would earn a full year high school credit.
