Communication Guidelines

Good communication helps keep Discovery Days running smoothly and ensures

that our co-op remains a safe and respectful environment.

• Email and Facebook
  
  • Email- our primary form of communication. Weekly Email will be sent on Wednesdays. 
    
  • Private Facebook group- used to share info & reminders, and also general chat.
    
  • Facebook Field trip group- for coordinating trips
    
    
• Directory Use
  • The Discovery Days directory may not be used for commercial solicitation.
  • The directory may not be shared or distributed in any form to others for any reason.
    
    
• Official Communication
  • Only the Leadership Team (or those they designate) may speak officially on behalf of Discovery Days.
  • Discovery Days operates independently of our host church, so we ask that you do not contact them regarding any co-op matters. Please direct inquiries to a member of the Leadership Team.
    
    
• Advertising
  • Limited community-related advertising may be shared.
  • Solicitation for personal business is not allowed.
  • Unsolicited use of personal information or email addresses from the roster is prohibited.
    
    
• Respectful Communication
  • Personal attacks of any kind will not be tolerated.
  • Offenders will be removed from Discovery Days for one year.
