Classes

Grade Level Placement

Our classes are grouped into six general age/grade tracks, based on your child’s age as of August 31. These tracks help us organize students by both academic and social development.

While parents know their children best, teachers are familiar with the class content and expectations. Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis, depending on class availability and at the discretion of the teacher and Leadership Team. These placements may be changed later if necessary.

Mentorship Opportunities for Teens

High school students and homeschooled graduates are welcome to help teach a class or participate in our Mentor Program, as long as an adult is present in the classroom. Leadership Team approval is required for all student teachers or mentors.

Special Needs Considerations

We want co-op to be a good fit for every family. However, please understand that our parent volunteers may not be trained to handle more complex special needs or behavioral challenges in a classroom setting.

If your child requires additional support, a parent may need to stay with them during class. In some cases, children may do better without a parent in the room—feel free to adjust based on your child’s needs.

Please prayerfully consider whether this co-op environment is the best fit for your child at this time.
