 Welcome to Truth Academy!

We appreciate you checking out our group for your homeschool class needs. We are already gearing up for our 2016-17 school year and will be hosting our annual Open House, Thursday, March 31st - it starts at 6:30 pm, but show up a bit early to secure a decent parking spot! The open house is the best opportunity to meet teachers, learn about class content and hear about our vision for the next school year and beyond.  You can also find LOTS of information on this website! Check the links on the left for teacher bios, class descriptions, class schedule and frequently asked questions (FAQs). Contact us if you have any questions or would like to set up a quick Friday tour.

Who:  We are a Christian homeschool academy providing a flexible, a la carte, drop-off or stay academic enrichment program designed to support parents in providing a high quality education for their children with a like-minded Biblical worldview based on our Statement of Faith. We offer core and elective classes for students from grade school - high school as well as Student Lounge for students of all ages with gaps in class times, allowing parents to make the most of their time. All participating families and teachers are required to sign and adhere to our Discipline PolicyStatement of FaithPolicies and Cancellation and other related forms. Classes are taught by dedicated, qualified Christian teachers. Younger grade school core class sizes are typically limited to a maximum of 15 students and upper level classes, 20+.

Vision:  Our mission and vision for our age 6-12 classes is to offer class options to enrich your homeschool in language, the arts, science, classical memory work and speech & writing.  For our upper level classes age 12-18, our focus is to equip students for their futures teaching from a biblical worldview through discipleship, communications/writing, college credit prep courses, science labs and more. Our discipleship teachers humbly mentor our male and female students in guided socratic discussion (classes are gender-separated), pointing them to Christ, and we have a NEW co-ed worldview course for our upper level high school students! Effective communicators become natural leaders, so we provide opportunities for growth in this area, both in academics as well as their faith. Our college credit prep classes offer students high school credit-worthy classes as well as the option to earn college credits as early as 7th grade, at possibly significant cost-savings for parents, especially in courses that are potentially subversive to their growing faith. Science labs provide opportunities for demonstrations, written lab reports and experiments, and discussions about science from a Christ-centered worldview. By focusing on these specific areas, we strive to equip our young men and women with a solid academic foundation which includes their spiritual development.

Structured group time is designed for parents to come alongside each other in prayer, for support and edification.

If you are interested in joining our group for your student to participate in classes, please contact us at the email address above. Our Board considers membership on a case-by-case basis due to our limited class space and it's desire to first serve those families in the areas local to our host church. Subject to Board approval, families will have access to additional member areas of our website that will be helpful to you as you participate in Truth Academy.
