Policies and Cancellation

Requesting Membership

After completing your Request for Membership form, it will be forwarded to the Truth Academy Board for review. 

You will receive an email when the process is completed. Subject to Board approval, you will be able log on with your user name and password, and given the opportunity to read and electronically sign the following documents which are necessary in order for your child(ren) to participate in Truth Academy classes. 

  • Registration Form  
  • Personal Statement of Faith  
  • Behavioral Policy
  • Liability Release Form 
  • Medical Release Form

If approved for membership, completing these necessary forms and submitting your $85.00 family registration fee will allow you to register your child for classes. 

Family Registration Fee

An $85 registration fee, per family, is required for the school year. The family registration fee is non-refundable as of the first day of Truth Academy. A $60 refund will be given prior to the first day.

*If you are unable to sign up for any classes, for any of your children, DUE TO THE CLASSES BEING FULL, your family registration fee will be refunded upon request.* 

Class Fees

Class fees for ages 6-12 start from $120/class for the semester, which includes supply fees. Class fees for age 12+ range from $120-175/class, which typically includes supply fees. Class materials for upper-level classes are extra. Families also have an opportunity to participate in the SCRIPS program to reduce fees.  For more information about the SCRIPS program, click here


Full payment for your children's tuition will be due on July 31st for the fall semester, Decemberr 16th for the spring semester. 

Cancellations and Refunds

If you no longer wish to participate in a class after the first week of the semester, you may contact Truth Academy, and we can discuss proposed changes.

Refunds are as follows:

End of the first Friday (9:00pm) of the Semester: If you drop a class, you will get your full refund minus a $15 administrative fee. No fee will be incurred if the student signs up for another class.

After the end of the first Friday of the semsester: The refund will be prorated by the remaining weeks, and a $20 administrative fee will be incurred. If moving to another class, the full class fee will be adjusted to the new class, so there will be no fees.

The Friday of week 3 through the end of the semester: No refunds will be offered.

Behavioral Policy

Truth Academy is primarily a drop-off homeschool group and as such, appropriate adult and student conduct is imperative. While under certain circumstances Truth Academy can be a good fit for students with learning challenges, we are not equipped nor are teachers and staff specifically trained to accommodate severe or ongoing behavioral issues and disruptions. Cell phone use by students is strictly prohibited without written instructor permission. Students must be able to conduct themselves in the classroom without being a disruption. Everybody is expected to act in an orderly and respectful manner, maintaining Christian standards of courtesy, kindness, language, morality, honesty, and striving toward an unquestionable character in dress, conduct, and attitude.  Keeping with the Truth Academy code of conduct a child is expected to: 

  • Respect God and Authority
  • Respect Each Other
  • Respect Property

Personal Appearance Standard

We are blessed and privileged to share a facility with Calvary Memorial Church. As such, we wish to honor them with the following personal appearance standard:

The Bible teaches Christians to be careful and discreet about their inward attitudes, as well as outward appearance. Since the Bible does not set absolute standards in dress, we have established the following standard consistent with Biblical principles. As Christians, our dress should reflect that our body is the Temple of the Holy Spirit. Our dress and appearance should be consistent with that thought. Each student is expected to wear modest, clean clothing. Clothing and jewelry are to be worn in such a way that it is not annoying or distracting to others.

  • Ripped/Distressed jeans with openings above the knee are required to have leggings or patches underneath
  • No low cut/revealing tops
  • Skirts are required to be no more than a couple of inches above the knee
  • No bare midriffs
  • Shirts that have logos or sayings should be free from vulgar language or suggestive innuendo
