Dr. Brian Kolo To All Instructors

Dr. Brian Kolo completed his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Virginia followed by his Juris Doctor Degree from George Mason University. From small classes to large auditoriums, he taught undergraduate physics both at UVA and UICI where he was also a TA. Currently Brian serves on several boards and is a cyber security and AI consultant.

Brian and his wife Lacy both felt led to homeschool their three boys and have been quite the dynamic duo! For the past eight years, he has been an active part in their homeschool journey and has enjoyed sharing his love for education with them. His passion for math and science can clearly be seen not only in their home education but also in the books and papers he writes on mathematics, his research on quantum field theory, and his computer code writing. In additional to the science focus, he also enjoys learning to draw! 

His genuine desire to learn and analyze is contagious and he is thrilled to share his passion for the sciences with our homeschooling community.
