Eagle Chefs is a Christ-centered culinary arts program where ECCHO students learn practical cooking and baking skills while building confidence, creativity, teamwork, and responsibility in the kitchen.

Who can join?  ALL ECCHO members ages 8 and up.

Student Expectations:

• Commit to participating in Eagle Chefs throughout the school year.
• Learn and practive culinary techniques and kitchen safety.
• Work collaboratively and independently while preparing recipes and completing challenges.
• Participate in monthly classes and activities.
• Complete the annual Eagle Chefs Final Challenge.
• Assist with promotion, sales, sponsorship, and fundraising activities when needed.
• Meet monthly at First Baptist Church Waxahachie for instructional classe

Recognition Opportunities:

• Work toward earning the Eagle Chefs Apron.
• Returning chefs who have earned an apron can earn additional skill patches.
• Upper-level students may have opportunities to letter through participation in the program.

• Explore new foods, techniquies, and recipes.
• Develop teamwork, leadership, and responsibility.

ECCHO Eagle Chefs is a September–May program that meets the 3rd Monday of each month from 12:30–2:30 PM at First Baptist Church Waxahachie.

There is a $30 Program Registration Fee,
a $35 Per Semester Supply Fee,
and a Monthly Club Fee of $30.

Because supplies, curriculum, and class planning are based on enrollment, and due to the limited number of spots available in the program, families are committing to the full program year when registering. Drop-out fees will apply for students who withdraw from the program after registration.
