About Us

ECCHO (Ellis County Christian Homeschool Organization) is a multi-denominational Christian support group for homeschooling families in and around Ellis County, Texas, and was founded in 1987. We currently have almost 200 member families with children ranging from infants to high schoolers. We typically offer enrichment classes (for K-12th grades) during the fall and spring, sports and fine arts programs, Mom's Night Out, special fall and spring events, and a variety of field trips and community activities. ECCHO's yearly membership dues are $40 per family.

Mission Statement

The purpose of ECCHO is to provide community, fellowship and encouragement to home-educating families in and around the Ellis County, Texas area, and to be a resource for both new and experienced home-educating families.

Our goal is to provide support, information, networking, and social opportunities to local homeschooling families in a safe, Christian environment.

For the safety of our member families, full access to our website is for members only.
