Designed for students ages 11 and up, this club provides a place to sharpen your skills, enjoy friendly competition, and connect with other students who share a love for the game.

Students will have the opportunity to play matches, learn new strategies, and develop important life skills such as patience, perseverance, good sportsmanship, and problem-solving. Whether you're looking to improve your game or simply enjoy an afternoon of chess with friends, the ECCHO Chess Club is the place to be!

When: 2nd Wednesday of each month
Time: 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM
Where: Games Unplugged, Midlothian
Format: Drop-off program
Capacity: Limited to 20 students

Requirements
Ages: 11+
Registration is required.
Students must have basic knowledge of chess and be able to play independently.

Fees
$10 Registration Fee due at sign-up (see ECCHO Calendar for details).
$20 per month (September 2026 – April 2027).
