About Junior Prep Classes
Spring 2022: Class Registration is currently open.
*There has been a slight adjustment to our program.* We now require that each Jr Prep family participate in multiple 1-hour service assignment slots throughout the semester. In true co-op fashion, this helps to keep our fees low and provides an opportunity to make sure our students have the best learning environment as possible. Service assignments may include classroom helpers, kid care helpers, hall monitors, etc. More information and sign ups for these service hours will be available soon. Thank you for understanding!
Junior Prep is a 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade program for families seeking classes with a more structured learning environment. This is a drop-off program (besides parental service assignments) that meets weekly on Fridays at the Cowboy Church of Ellis County for the full school year (approximately 28 class days). Offered classes vary, ranging from electives to academic. To enroll in this program your family must be in good standing with ECCHO, be up-to-date on all dues, and have a current background check on file. Students must be age 11 on or before September 1st, and be in the 6th 7th, or 8th grade. Students enrolled in Junior Prep may not participate in Prep, Enrichment Classes or Elective Fridays, however they may be part of Camp Hoblitzelle at the same time.
There is an $80 per semester fee for the Jr Prep program OR a $120 family fee cap if your family is also enrolled in Teen Prep Classes. Each class will have a semester supply fee and a monthly fee that will be determined by the class instructor.
Current class offerings can be found on the Class Registration page.
