Our Community

Planet Homeschool is a vibrant, welcoming, inclusive, secular learning community for middle and high school students ages 10–19.

We meet in-person on Fridays from September through May.

PHS instructors are passionate about student learning and actively engaged in their fields. Our classes usually have 10 - 20 students. We aim to keep class sizes smaller to foster a comfortable atmosphere, and build close relationships among instructors, students, and parents. Our community is full of lively and intellectually curious students who truly enjoy being here and learning together. We intentionally set aside time at the end of the day for socializing; we want students and their families to have free time to get to know one another. Members often plan fieldtrips and social events together like bowling, holiday parties, movies, camping, and park gatherings.

Our co-op is made possible by all our talents and labor combined. All members are expected to pitch in. It can be as simple as helping with setup or cleanup on class days, or something more involved like organizing an event.

We invite you to explore our website. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our co-op’s Lead Volunteers at PlanetHomeschoolMN@gmail.com.
