Family Profile

Hints

  • Use the State/Country For United States and Canada dropdown to select MN-US (or WI-US) rather than typing your entry in the State/Province and Country fields.

  • Help out our co-op’s volunteers and ensure that the number entered in the first Phone field is the best number to reach your family’s first named adult and that the number entered in the Phone 2 field is the best number to reach your family’s second named adult.

  • The Phone 3 field can be used for a home, work, fax, etc. number (or left blank) — and you may enter an up-to-7-character description after the number (for example, “612-555-1000 home”).

  • Planet Homeschool has not yet decided to pay for the new text messaging option, but the base plan would allow our co-op to send about a half dozen messages per year (although our co-op could choose to pay more to send more messages). So you may indicate whether or not you will accept text messages, but you may never receive one.

  • Counterintuitively, you’ll get more Forum messages on average if you choose Daily Digest than if you choose Many Emails.

  • Don’t forget to check the box below to accept Homeschool-Life’s Terms of Service:

Photo Sharing Permissions

PHS volunteers use photos of students, instructors, and parents participating in PHS activities, such as classes, performances, field trips, and social activities, to promote Planet Homeschool including our co-op’s activities, events, and classes.

 1. Our website has Member-Only sections that only current logged-in members can view.
 2. Our website also has Public sections that are accessible to everyone.
 3. Currently, the only Social Media in use is the Planet Homeschool Facebook Page, but other forms of social media might be used by future volunteers.

Names are not used on social media or in the public sections of this website (except for those of our instructors and lead volunteers). Should there ever be a reason to use a person’s name, then permission would be requested separately for that context only.

Our co-op’s volunteers appreciate the willingness of our members and instructors to allow the use of photos to promote our co-op!
