Planet Homeschool is a secular homeschool co-op for middle-school and high-school students ages 10 years to 19 years. Individual classes may be further restricted in age.
Mission Statement
Planet Homeschool is open to all faiths, beliefs, and educational styles. In all that we do we work to include, respect, and learn from individual differences in ability, gender, culture, race, religion, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, and educational philosophy.
There are four steps to joining our co-op and registering for classes
Step 1
Create a family profile by completing the form below.
New members must have at least one child who will be between the ages of 10 years and 19 years on the first day of class.
Step 2
Pay your membership fee.
When you click CONTINUE at the end of the family profile form, there will be a link to sign in to your newly created account where you can pay your membership fee invoice via PayPal.
-
Make sure you save your username and password because you will need them to log in, pay your membership fee, and register for classes.
Step 3
Wait for Approval
One of our co-op’s volunteers will review and approve your membership application.
- Most requests are approved within a day but other demands on our volunteers’ time may occasionally result in longer delays.

Step 4
Register for Classes
You will then be ready to register for classes … when registration opens for new members.
COVID-19 and In-Person Classes
If you wish to register your child(ren) for in-person classes & events, you must also sign a COVID-19 Vaccination Affidavit and Assumption of Risk.
-
Families who are signing up only for online classes & events do not need to complete this form.
Contact Us
If you have any concerns or questions about the registration process, please contact our co-op’s Lead Volunteers at [email protected].

Hints
-
Use the State/Country For United States and Canada dropdown to select MN-US (or WI-US) rather than typing your entry in the State/Province and Country fields.
-
Help out our co-op’s volunteers and ensure that the number entered in the first Phone field is the best number to reach your family’s first named adult and that the number entered in the Phone 2 field is the best number to reach your family’s second named adult.
-
The Phone 3 field can be used for a home, work, fax, etc. number (or left blank) — and you may enter an up-to-7-character description after the number (for example, “612-555-1000 home”).
-
Planet Homeschool has not yet decided to pay for the new text messaging option, but the base plan would allow our co-op to send about a half dozen messages per year (although our co-op could choose to pay more to send more messages). So you may indicate whether or not you will accept text messages, but you may never receive one.
-
Counterintuitively, you’ll get more Forum messages on average if you choose Daily Digest than if you choose Many Emails.
