Counterintuitively, you’ll get more messages on average if you choose Daily Digest than if you choose Many Emails.

This is for two reasons:

1. Our co-op currently averages less than one forum post per day.

2. The Daily Digest is sent for both new messages and modified messages, while the Many Emails option sends only new messages.

Limitations of the Daily Digest

1. The Daily Digest is sent at 4:30 AM.

2. The Daily Digest includes messages created or modified from midnight to midnight of the previous day.

   • Any post created or modified between midnight and 4:30 AM will not be sent until the following morning.

3. If a new post is modified before the Daily Digest is sent, such as receiving a reply, it will be listed in the Modified Forums section instead of the New Forum Messages section of the Daily Digest.

4. When a new reply is posted to an existing message thread, it will be listed in the Modified Forums section instead of the New Forum Messages section of the Daily Digest.

5. The Daily Digest will always attribute the post to the adult family member(s) while the Many Emails option is able to attribute posts made by a student to that student.

6. The Daily Digest is sent whenever a minor typo is corrected in an existing post as well as when a new post is created.
