Our Co-op’s Location

Planet Homeschool is a vibrant, welcoming, and inclusive secular learning community for homeschooling students ages 10-19. Although we are based in the Twin Cities, we welcome students from far and wide while we operate fully online during the 2020-2021 academic year! Our classes are synchronous, meeting on Fridays from September 1, 2020, through April 30, 2021.

PHS teachers are passionate about student learning and actively engaged in their fields. Our classes are small, fostering a comfortable, informal atmosphere and close relationships among instructors, students, and parents. At the heart of our community are our awesome youth: the lively and intellectually curious students who truly enjoy being here and learning together. Because we can’t be together in person, students are also hosting social activities such as lunchtime Zoom chats and game meetups for members.

As a co-op, PHS is made possible by all our talents and labor. Parents and guardians are expected to share in the administrative and supervisory aspects of the co-op. Our volunteer responsibilities are different from usual as we navigate the pandemic and remote learning this year: please reach out if you’d like to hear more.

We invite you to explore our website and look over our FAQ. If you have further questions regarding PHS, please feel free to contact the PHS Lead Volunteers at PlanetHomeschoolMN@gmail.com.
