BROOMBALL for Upper-grade Families, Friends, and Alumni

 

ICEOPLEX IN ESCONDIDO

$10 per person

Our actual ice time is 6:15 - 7:45.  Check in will begin at 5:45.  (Please arrive no later than 6:00 to ensure we are ready to hit the ice at 6:15.)

 

Please sign up on the website as soon as possible.  Because we had to submit payment in full to the rink prior to our date, we would like to collect payment ahead of time. (There will be no deadline for sign-ups but we would appreciate as many early sign-ups as possible!) You may make payment using Paypal or you may mail a check to the address below.  Remember, parents, extended family, and friends are all invited to join us.  Please note that non-CFS participants will need to pay with cash.

 

All minor students must bring a waiver signed by a parent in order to participate!  A waiver will be sent to you prior to our date.

 

Be sure to dress warmly and wear comfortable tennis shoes.  The rink does not provide helmets but allows participants to bring in their own if so desired.

Here is a brief description for those who are unfamiliar with the game:

Broomball is similar to hockey. The game is played in a hockey rink with two teams. The object of the game is to score more goals than the opposing team. Players use brooms to maneuver a ball up and down the ice. Instead of skates, players wear tennis shoes. (This is a very physical game so younger siblings may want to sit this one out!)
